Why you should travel by bus: Autumn Bus Journeys Journal

Autumn leaves with a heart cut

31st October- The last day of beloved October. It came with the warm colors of the Autumn season, festivals, celebrations, lights, crackers, and last but not least, my birthday.

It was like every day, waiting for the bus, catching the bus, and peeping from the bus window into the outer world that seems invincible, exhausting, and serene at the same time. You hate it but admire it.

But that day, something different was waiting.

A woman, sitting in my front seat.

She was a little withered with tired eyes. The amount of hair on her scalp was countable. Though she tried to hide, it was no use, or maybe she lost interest in the middle of it.

Everything was concluding the possible symptoms of a cancer patient.

A lifeless creature for a world without October!

When her eyes rested on me, it was intriguing. Our eyes find a tune, synchronizing with the same chord.

But you never want to walk on someone and let them find out the real you. Well, some of us are okay with that. I would never like that.

But not everything goes according to our wishes. And traveling locally certainly has its own charms.

She kept looking at me with her piercing eyes digging deep inside me, as I pretended not to even exist. (Because I'm extremely introverted, not rude)

Did she find the same spirit we share?

The desperation to leave the mortal body and wander freely to the sky, all over the earth, to all ancient cities, or modern marvels, or why not, to up, reaching beyond the visible sky, to the universe?

Was it love at first sight, as they say?

Love can come in different forms, you see.

Well, before the story advances, my stoppage came. And I was glad I met her. For she let me feel, the miseries exist and so do the delights.

Autumn flower

October is gone. November has already entered with a promise of chilly nights, dry days, and also the fragrance of winter flowers.

Thank you, October, for all the warmth you showered.

Will miss you till you visit again!

How do you enjoy your winter sunny days and bus journey?
